Access control work covers new systems, additional controlled doors and upgrades to existing installations, with equipment selected to suit the openings and the way the site operates.
Doors, gates and controlled areas are assessed before quoting to determine who requires access, when access is permitted, and how each opening is required to operate. Controllers are installed and wired back to the access control or security control panel, with readers, locks, request-to-exit devices and associated door hardware connected at each opening.
The system is then programmed with users, credentials, access groups and schedules as required. Door locking arrangements are configured to suit the application, including fail-safe or fail-secure operation where appropriate, while taking applicable fire and egress requirements into account. The nominated administrator can also be shown how to add, remove and manage users and credentials.
