Frequently asked

Common questions.

Do I need single-mode or multi-mode fibre?+

Multi-mode (OM4/OM3) is the standard for in-building and short-run applications. Single-mode is used for long distances, between buildings or where high bandwidth is critical. The right choice is confirmed on site.

Can you splice existing fibre?+

Yes. We fusion splice, repair breaks and extend existing fibre runs with full OTDR reporting.

Do you provide fibre test results?+

Installed links are tested and handed over with insertion loss and OTDR trace results. As-built diagrams and a fibre schedule are supplied where documentation is included in the scope.

Where do you install fibre?+

Across the Gold Coast — Coomera, Helensvale, Nerang, Southport, Bundall, Robina, Burleigh Heads and Currumbin — and wider South East Queensland for campus and multi-site links.
