Questions we get from clients.
Do I need single-mode or multi-mode fibre?+
Multi-mode (OM4/OM3) is the standard for in-building and short-run applications. Single-mode is used for long distances, between buildings or where high bandwidth is critical. We'll advise the right choice on-site.
Can you splice existing fibre?+
Yes. We fusion splice, repair breaks and extend existing fibre runs with full OTDR reporting.
How long does a typical fibre run take?+
A single building-to-building backbone with terminations and testing is usually one to two days, depending on pathway access.
